The Quick Mill Stretta is the slimmest machine in the Quick Mill line, just 19 cm wide, and it brings a full 58 mm group and a real steam wand to kitchens where counter space is tight. Behind the retro styling sits a die-cast aluminum thermoblock with a copper thermocoil over half a metre long, so the Stretta is ready to brew within minutes of switching on. Two separate thermostats manage coffee and steam temperatures, and the Quick Mill brew group with O-ring seal gives a snug fit for the commercial-size portafilter.

Quick Mill fits the Stretta with its exclusive vibration pump, tuned for 30% less noise than a standard pump, and a 1.8 litre water tank that slides in from the side so you never need to reach behind the machine. The steam wand includes an air mixer that makes creamy milk for cappuccinos and lattes easy, even if you have never steamed before. Icon-labelled switches keep the controls simple.

Made in Italy, the Stretta pairs a stainless steel top with a sturdy coloured body and comes in white, yellow, black, red and green, so it can match a kitchen rather than hide in it. It is a great first espresso machine for anyone who wants Italian build quality in a compact, affordable package.
