Joel works in our helpful service department. He spends his days working on espresso machines and grinders and thinking of ways to improve them; at IDC we regularly provide feedback to manufacturers on possible improvements. Outside of work Joel enjoys camping and heavy metal music.

iDrinkCoffee.com has grown over the years so we had to expand our security team. Whisky is our newest deputy on the job. His days are spent patrolling IDC making sure everything is on the up and up. Despite his name, Whisky, much like his supervisor Toby loves cafe lattes.

Gianni Lagrasta

Service Manager

Gianni is iDrinkCoffee.com's service manager. Gianni oversees our entire service department. His duties include providing coaching to our tech team, ordering parts, working with our suppliers, helping customers and a myriad of other managerial duties. Gianni has two huskies who he enjoys spending time with outside of work.

Ashley Yarnold

Operations Ace

Ashley is part of our Milton operations team. She spends her days shipping packages, roasting coffee and making sure the warehouse is running smoothly. She is a mother to four kids so her patience and organization is superhuman. She uses this incredible ability to bring calm to our often hectic operations team.

Angelito Tuguinay

Operations Frontiersman

Angelito is a part of our operations team in Calgary. He spends his days dispatching packages to our customers in western Canada. Outside of IDC Angelito enjoys working out and Jujutsu with his friend and colleague Zach.

Prodigal Son

Luca is iDrinkCoffee's prodigal son. Now back for his third tour of duty he is working remotely and taking care of sales and administrative support. Luca lives our company values and especially constant and never ending improvement.

Daniel C

Shredding Operations Savant

Daniel is a member of our warehouse team. He spends his days making sure our delivery driver is properly dispatched, shipping packages, organizing our warehouse and helping with roasting coffee. Daniel's super power is his energy, he is constantly moving and getting things done. Outside of IDC Daniel enjoys alpine snowboarding. Dan is camera shy but this silhouette captures his essence.

Cornel is part of our technical support/repair team. He has a wealth of experience in repairs of all kinds and his abundance of positive energy boosts IDCs already super positive tech team.

Ahmed is our trusty and reliable delivery driver. You may see Ahmed if you live in the Greater Toronto Area delivering packages to your door with our iDrinkCoffee.com delivery van. Outside of IDC Ahmed enjoys cheering for the Toronto Raptors.

Stede Sheldrake

Adenosine Averse Mechanic

Stede joins iDrinkCoffee.com after an exhilarating career in the photocopier/printer repair industry. Stede works in our repair department and his day starts with a barrage of fist bumps and how do you do’s, from there he proceeds onto working as a team to accomplish a myriad of tasks. All the while a smile on everyone's face and a joke around every corner. Stede's favourite machine to work with is the Breville Barista, the concept of 2 minutes from cold to pouring a shot is wonderful to him.

James Hawdon

Jim has worked in coffee for over 10 years and remarks how coffee continues to amaze him and that IDC brings him a great sense of fulfillment and meaning, giving him the motivation and confidence to take risks to better himself both at work and outside of work. He loves coffee and consumes his fair share (and more) of it with his go-to drink being an Americano. His current favourite machine is the ECM Puristika because it is simple and pure and beautiful.

Elyse is a self described absolute coffee dork. She is obsessed with all aspects of coffee and has experience in roasting, working as a barista and in customer service. She spends her days at IDC assisting customers in picking the right equipment and helping customers solve coffee related problems to get the very most out of their equipment.

Jordan Clarke

Footballing Operations Specialist

Jordan Clarke (no relation to our other Clarkes) is part of our operations team. When you receive your package stamped "Packaged with love by Jordan" you know it was he who carefully prepared your shipment. He spends his day shipping but also assists in roasting and packaging coffee. Jordan loves coffee but likely owing to his English heritage also enjoys teas like our Uncle Grey or with milk as a Chai Latte.

Doug Copping

Photog Extraordinaire

Doug is iDrinkCoffee.com's resident photographer/videographer. Doug has a background in documentary filming as well as digital asset creation in the food industry. At IDC Doug helped in the design of our new video and photography studios and he spends his day recording videos, shooting product photos and editing.

Patrick Sagan

The Gliding Technician

Patrick works in our service department and spends his day testing, repairing and tinkering with espresso machines. He enjoys working with his hands and even motorized a bicycle in his spare time. His youthful exuberance is the wind in iDrinkCoffee.com's sail.

Zach Carleton

Head of Western Operations

Zach has heeded the call "Go West Young Man" and moved to the other side of the country to take charge of our western office in Calgary Alberta. Zach is in charge of managing our western operations and making sure packages get sent out quickly to our customers in Western Canada. Forgive the Maple Leafs shirt in his picture; soon he'll be a Flames fan.

Anastasia Gorda

The Milk Lady

"A morning without coffee is called sleep".

Anastasia is iDrinkCoffee.com's western connection. Hailing from Crossfield, Alberta, Anastasia joined IDC's customer service/sales team with experience working as a barista. Her day is spent answering phone calls and emails and pairing customers with the equipment suitable to their needs. Anatasia's favourite drink is a cafe latte so if we ever run out of milk she is the one who immediately replenishes our stock which has earned her the nick name "The Milk Lady".

Colm Whitford

Savvy Sales Rep

Colm (pronounced Collum or phonetically /ˈkæləm/) joined iDrinkCoffee.com in 2019 with experience working as a barista. His superpower is his patience.  Colm is always willing to take the time to help our customers pick the right machine for their lifestyle and their situation. He enjoys lattes and pouring latte art.

Edward Lehardi

Numbers Man

Ed is our resident bookkeeper and accounting specialist.  Since joining IDC he has revolutionized the accounting department.  On account of his incredible hawk like attention Ed also acts as controller. Ed enjoys the gregarious environment at IDC and our regular team lunches. His favourite drinks are cappuccinos and lattes.

Pranav Chavda

"If a friend tells you to cut down on your caffeine consumption, they are not your true friend."

Pranav is our man in Mumbai.  He is responsible for marketing, website user experience and pretty much everything to do with the IDC website. Although working remotely he is a huge part of the iDrinkCoffee.com team and has been with the company for nearly 5 years.  Pranav is serious about numbers and he takes results personally.  

Living in a warm climate it is only natural that Pranav enjoys cold brew made in a Hario Mizudashi.

Anna Janicki

“Coffee is the gasoline of life.”

As manager, Anna is responsible for managing the idrinkcoffee team, ensuring everyone is properly trained, prepared and caffeinated. She also makes sure that everyone is on board with the latest promotions and newly stocked items. When she’s not raiding Pinterest for new showroom decor ideas, she loves trying out new products and tasting new coffee. She values the amazing idrinkcoffee team, including her dog Toby who gets to come into work with her every single day.

Anna’s top idrinkcoffee picks are the Rocket r60 (with black panels) with Sweet Blue brew, Espresso yellow and Burundi beans.

Angel Pashov

Doppio Drinking Mechanic

Angel is an experienced technician having worked on both commercial and domestic machines prior to joining iDrinkCoffee.com.  He enjoys the relaxed atmosphere and great music of the IDC service department.  His day is spent diagnosing and repairing espresso machines in house and also on the road. Angel enjoys the challenge of repairing espresso and coffee equipment and the satisfaction of extending the life of older machines.

His go to drink is a double espresso, straight up, using Hawaiian Kona and his favourite machine is the Rocket Mozzafiato Evo

Damian Hercules

Operations Virtuoso

Damian works in operations at iDrinkCoffee.com. He is responsible for making sure orders get shipped accurately and on time.

Damian's mom found giving up coffee difficult during her pregnancy with him and he attributes his love of coffee to this prenatal exposure.

One of Damian's favourite things at IDC is packaging tea because of all the varied and wonderful aromas of our full leaf teas.  He likes packaging coffee for the same reason.  Damian's go to drink is an americano to which he likes to add some milk and a little sugar.

 

Toby

Head of Security

"I won’t drink black coffee."

Toby graduated from Obedience School with Honours in 2012, and thus employed as Head of Security here at idrinkcoffee. He spends his days sleeping in his crate, barking at delivery drivers, begging co-workers for affection and coaxing customers to play with him. He loves the social aspect of the position as he has no formal training with coffee, or even much of a taste for it.

Toby’s favorite idrinkcoffee pick is anything that is served with milk.

Slawek Janicki

"Coffee is a ritual, a guilt free treat that you can enjoy everyday. It's also the sustenance to nearly 10% of the world's population.”

Slawek is the founder and CEO of iDrinkCoffee. Although his educational background is in English literature, he has been working in sales for nearly 20 years and in the coffee game since 2009. There is no choice for Slawek to be involved in all aspects of the business and be completely hands on- this is his dream job! But no matter how full his days are, he still finds time to spend with his wife and two adorable children.

Slawek’s top picks are the Slayer Single Group and anything else that makes a perfect cortado.

Disclaimer: When asked to divulge his coffee charisma and reveal his top picks, Slawek could not be held to just one or two. He went on to explain that he tends to like the lighter roasts and coffees that are bright and fruity. He admitted that it was too hard for him to nail down but recollected that the very first specialty coffee exposed to him was Ethiopian Harrar; “it was like nothing I had ever tasted before and opened my mind (and my palate) to what coffee can be.”
