The IMS Big Bang is the company's competition-grade precision basket, built around the same B70 platform as the BaristaPro line but with a much higher hole density and a refined wall profile. The 'Big Bang' name comes from the laser-pierced bottom - thousands of micro-holes drilled in a starry pattern that flows more freely than a standard basket and pushes flow uniformity to its limit.

This 20 gram version is the largest of the Big Bang doubles, with a 25.5 mm wall height. It is sized for heavier modern doses, third-wave style pulls, and any cafe running on the larger end of the dose curve. The taller wall gives you headroom for the coffee bed to bloom without contacting the screen.

Made in Italy by IMS to a 58 mm outer diameter, fits E61 group heads, La Marzocco, Slayer, Synesso, and any other 58 mm portafilter. Ridgeless design, food-grade stainless steel.
