The VST Precision 18g Standard Basket is the benchmark filter basket for serious espresso. Engineered with a proprietary micro-machining process, every single hole is measured for diameter, area, and circularity to a precision of ±30 microns - delivering extraction uniformity that no other basket on the market can match.

Why VST?

• Measured precision: Every hole on every basket is individually verified for size, shape, and placement before leaving the factory
• Uniform extraction: Centred hole pattern oriented for even flow across the entire puck
• Built to last: Anti-wear design with wide outlet angles prevents clogging and ensures consistent performance for the life of the basket
• Authenticated: Each basket carries a unique 2D barcode storing factory QC measurements and quality data

Dose & Size

The 18g basket is designed for 16-19g of coffee, the most popular size for standard double shots. Fits all standard 58mm portafilters.

Standard Design

The standard (ridged) version features a retaining ridge that locks the basket securely into the portafilter spring. This is the traditional design used in most commercial and home espresso machines.

Compatibility

Fits 58mm portafilters from La Marzocco, Rocket, ECM, Profitec, Quick Mill, Izzo, Isomac, Vibiemme, Rancilio, La Cimbali, Nuova Simonelli, and more. Works with both spouted and bottomless portafilters.
