This unique coffee was part of Daterra's auction in 2022. It was inspired by the painter Anita Malfatti, known for her modernist paintings and commitment to the Brazilian modernist movement.
Daterra is one of the world-famous farms in Brazil, where coffee is produced with an inspiring commitment to quality and sustainability. All Daterra Farms coffees have been Rainforest Alliance certified since 2003, meaning the coffee is grown on farms where forests, rivers and soils are protected; wildlife is conserved; workers are paid decent wages and given access to medical care and education.
The coffee beans are of the Laurina varietal, a rare, low-caffeine variety of Arabica coffee that has been traced to origins on Réunion Island, near Madagascar. This varietal is known for its unique flavour profile and vibrant cup.
