The IMS Big Bang is the company's competition-grade precision basket, built around the same B70 platform as the BaristaPro line but with a much higher hole density and a refined wall profile. The 'Big Bang' name comes from the laser-pierced bottom - thousands of micro-holes drilled in a starry pattern that flows more freely than a standard basket and pushes flow uniformity to its limit.

This 17 gram version sits in the middle of the Big Bang range, with a 23.5 mm wall height. It is the everyday workhorse size for most home and cafe setups, sized for classic Italian 17 gram doubles and the kind of dose most prosumer machines are tuned around.

Made in Italy by IMS to a 58 mm outer diameter, fits E61 group heads, La Marzocco, Slayer, Synesso, and any other 58 mm portafilter. Ridgeless design, food-grade stainless steel.
